Snow and sand under one roof
Skidome is one of the most popular conference activities in Gothenburg — and it's literally one floor below reception. The indoor tracks stretch 1.2 kilometres through gently rolling terrain, with two classic trails and a skate bowl. The temperature stays around minus four degrees, so bring an extra layer.
For those who want to raise the stakes, biathlon is available. The group is divided into teams, the pulse quickens on the track, and then it's all about keeping a steady hand at the shooting range. Expect plenty of laughter — and a few surprising results.
Beach Center offers a completely different kind of energy. Twenty-eight courts with white sand, palm trees, birdsong and the sound of waves create the feeling of being somewhere far from a conference room in November. Here you play beach volleyball on the same courts used by elite competitors, and instructors are on hand if the group needs a quick run-through of the rules.
Activities without changing clothes
Not all conference activities require sports gear. Quiz and trivia sessions can be arranged directly in your meeting room — or in the VIP section if you'd like a change of scenery. Through our partner Aventi, you can choose from music quizzes, general knowledge rounds and themed formats. It works just as well for eight people as for eighty.
Cornhole — a team game where you toss bean bags onto a target board — is another option that works practically anywhere. The rules take thirty seconds to explain, but the competitive spirit tends to last considerably longer. Hire costs 200 kronor per session, and you can play for up to three hours.
Golf putting is a third option for those who want to challenge their colleagues to a test of precision without leaving the room. Three balls, three attempts — whoever sinks all three takes the full points.

A focused working session in our largest room, with capacity for up to 120 people and full AV equipment.
Activity session at Skidome or Beach Center
The group gets changed and heads down to the tracks or out onto the sand. Instructors are available on site if needed.

Hot buffet or a sit-down lunch with dishes from the menu — adapted to the size of your group.
Afternoon workshop with quiz
Music quiz or trivia straight in the conference room. The competitive instinct kicks in and the energy carries through the entire session.
Relaxation after an intensive day of meetings
Sometimes the best way to round off a conference day is to slow things right down. The relaxation area at Nordic Wellness — inside the arena — features two hot tubs, a dry sauna and a steam room with views over Skidome. Fruit and drinks are served on site, and the space accommodates up to sixteen people.
You can book the relaxation area exclusively for your group, giving you a private moment away from other guests. It works perfectly as a close to a full day of meetings and activities — or as a gentle start to the evening before dinner at Glenn Sportsbar.
